2008-09 Round: The 2008-09 Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program round has closed. It is anticipated organisations will be notified of the outcome in December 2008.
Program Overview
The Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program provides funding for the development of new or existing sport or active recreation facilities.
Sport and active recreation clubs/associations, Local Government Authorities and school councils are eligible to apply for facility projects that meet a demonstrated community need.
Applicants can only apply for 1 grant under one of the categories listed below:
- Community Level Facility Funding;
- Regional Level Facility Funding; and
- Facility Feasibility Study Funding.
Requests for funding of less than $20,000 and more then $300,000 will not be considered.
Grants are offered annually.
