Children & Youth - Sportshorts

Sportshorts is a publication designed to promote alliances between recreation and sport and the education sector.

Two editions of Sportshorts are produced each year and are distributed to all South Australian schools. Additional copies are provided to libraries, out of school hours care, vacation care programs and Local Governments.

Articles from not for profit, incorporated bodies are accepted for Sportshorts. Articles should detail professional development of teachers, coaching courses, school coaching opportunities, leadership opportunities for young people and create links between schools and community clubs.

Each issue of Sportshorts includes an updated contact listing of sport and recreation organisations with nominated Development Officers and industry support agencies. Currently over 100 organisations are listed in this section.
