Revisions to World Anti-Doping Code, International Standards, Come into Force January 1, 2009
Changes to the World Anti-Doping Code come into effect on 1 January 2009, and will impact athletes and support personnel. SASI has accordingly updated its Anti doping Policy.

Key changes include a new Prohibited List and the elimination of abbreviated Therapeutic Use Exemptions; however, all abbreviated Therapeutic Use Exemptions delivered before 31 December 2008 will remain valid after 1 January 2009 for a set period. The South Australian Sports Institute (SASI)

CANOE/KAYAK
As members of the U23 Australian Canoe Sprint Team SASI athletes Mieke Boerema and Matt Goble have both had wins in their respective K1 500m races at the 57th U23 International Ruhr Regatta in Bochum, Germany.
TRAMPOLINE
SASI Athlete Ben Wilden cemented his place in the World Championships Team at the NSW Championships when he posted his second automatic qualifying score this year.
CYCLING
Congratulations to Jack Bobridge for winning a stage at the U23 International Thuringen Road Tour in Germany.
