PROGRAM OVERVIEW

SASI Rowing is recognised as a World class program producing international successful athletes. The Light Weight Women's crews have been consistent medallists at World Championships.

The program whilst having national and international status for Lightweight women is also focussed on producing senior national team members, across all categories, capable of being competitive internationally.

SASI Rowing provides comprehensive and innovative services to identify, develop and support talented athletes in the pursuit of sporting excellence in rowing at the top level of competition. SASI Rowing targets support to current and potential national squad athletes with the potential to be internationally elite stream.

SASI Rowing Program is a recognised National Training Centre within Rowing Australia's National High Performance Program. The program works in collaboration with the South Australian Rowing Association in the conduct of talent identification and development initiatives as well as supporting its Coaching education programs.

NATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE PROGRAM

The SASI Rowing Program is a partnership program funded and supported by the South Australian government through SASI in partnership with both National and State Sporting Organisation. A key partner in the program is Rowing Australia who contributes funding support to the program as part of its National High Performance Plan. The NTC endorsement of the program recognises the status of the program in the sports National High Performance Pathway and also the indirect funding contribution to the SASI program by the Australian Sports Commission through Rowing Australia.
